JurisOptima provides legal services including but not limited to: legal consultation, police station accompaniment, legal notice drafting, court document services, case filing, case response and defense, and full legal representation. All services are provided by qualified advocates enrolled with the Bar Council of India and are subject to professional regulations under the Advocates Act, 1961.
03Client Responsibilities
As a client, you agree to: (a) provide accurate and complete information regarding your legal matters; (b) respond promptly to requests for information or documents; (c) attend scheduled appointments and court dates; (d) pay agreed fees in a timely manner; (e) maintain confidentiality of privileged communications; (f) not use our services for any unlawful purpose or to pursue frivolous claims.
04Fees and Payments
Our fees are communicated transparently before the commencement of any engagement. Fees may include professional fees, court fees, stamp duties, travel expenses, and other disbursements. Payment terms will be specified in your engagement letter. We reserve the right to suspend services for non-payment. All fees are subject to applicable taxes.
05No Guarantee of Outcome
While we commit to providing competent and diligent legal services, we cannot and do not guarantee any specific outcome in your legal matter. The outcome of legal proceedings depends on various factors including the facts of the case, applicable law, court discretion, and actions of other parties. Any discussion of potential outcomes is based on our professional judgment and should not be construed as a guarantee.
06Confidentiality
All communications between you and JurisOptima are protected by advocate-client privilege as per the Advocates Act, 1961 and the Bar Council of India Rules. We will maintain strict confidentiality of all information shared with us, except where disclosure is required by law, court order, or with your express consent.
07Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of JurisOptima and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent. Legal documents prepared for your specific matter belong to you upon payment of applicable fees.
08Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JurisOptima and its advocates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
09Termination
Either party may terminate the engagement at any time with reasonable notice. Upon termination, you remain responsible for fees for services rendered up to the date of termination. We will provide you with your documents and files upon request and payment of any outstanding fees. Certain ongoing matters may require court permission for withdrawal.
10Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising from these terms or our services shall first be attempted to be resolved through mediation. If mediation fails, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the city where our registered office is located. This clause shall not prevent either party from seeking urgent interim relief from any court of competent jurisdiction.
11Amendments
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated through our website or direct notification. Your continued use of our services after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
